What is this
In India, the Festival of Colors announces the arrival of spring and the passing of winter. The festival breathes an atmosphere of social merriment. People bury their hatchets with a warm embrace and throw their worries to the wind. Every nook and corner presents a colorful sight. Young and old alike are covered with colors (red, green, yellow, blue, pink, orange, violet, and more).
Color your life and throw your worries to the wind!
It is a family friendly gathering of people united in their desire to celebrate life.
This colorful festival takes place in the most beautiful village called New Vrindaban, the Land of Krishna. Here you can look out over expansive acres of rustic Appalachian countryside, roam through award-winning gardens, and see national heritage architecture. Peacocks, swans, deer, and many other animals grace the holy hillsides of New Vrindaban. Roaming freely, they beautify the scenery and add a delightful surprise to your color throwing experience.
